Abstract Figurative Portrait on Fine Art Paper | The Goat Within

NOK 5,000.00

PRE-ORDER — Ships March 1st

This expressive figurative portrait carries a quiet unease — a creature watching from within. The goat becomes a symbol of the shadow self, a reminder that even our darkness has form and expression.

The piece emerges from blind charcoal gestures, drawn with eyes closed to let intuition guide the form. The charcoal lines are then developed with oil sticks, shaping a composition that balances abstraction with figurative presence.

Created on 100% cotton rag paper (280–310 gsm), this original work is part of the Between Faces series—an exploration of identity, connection, and transformation through abstract figurative portraiture.
