“Between Faces” — new series is now live

A woman standing in an art studio, holding a sponge, in front of a window with sheer curtains. She wears a white t-shirt with a dog illustration, with her left hand in her pocket. There is an easel with a line drawing of faces and an open wooden box with art supplies on a table.

Meet the Artist

I am a contemporary artist working between intuitive abstraction and expressive figurative forms, drawing on psychology to explore the social and personal dimensions of human identity and the layered complexity of human experience.

Art Collections

Multiple colorful abstract figurative paintings placed on a wooden surface in an art studio in Oslo.

“Between Faces”

Blends blind drawing with rich oil-stick color, exploring the social and personal aspects of human identity. The series marks a shift toward deeper psychological expression in my artwork.

Black and white photo of an abstract line art portrait of a woman on a large canvas, with a shadow crossing the face. A woven bag is visible in the lower left corner.

“Subconscious Lines”

Emerging from subconscious drawing, this series investigates shape, gesture, and emotional residue formed beyond conscious control. It marks a pivotal shift from realism to abstraction, with intuition guiding the process.

An art studio in Oslo, with a wooden work table, art supplies, and a shelf with oil paint bottles, oil sticks, brushes, and fine art paper. Natural light enters through a window with curtains.

Studio / Process Glimpse

Where intuition, psychology, and material shape subconscious expression.

A woman, Norwegian artist is sitting in a chair in a dimly lit room in her art studio in Oslo. With sunlight coming through curtains, holding a mug of coffee, and looking down.

My work isn’t about perfection or fixed meaning. It’s about creating space — for pause, reflection, and personal interpretation.

The Dancer is offered as a fine art print, capturing the movement and fluidity of the original abstract figurative portrait. Rather than depicting a fixed pose, an identity as static, the composition rather suggests motion as an internal rhythm — a body responding to space, weight, and time. A transition and change through movement.
